Nicole Tranchina, MS, CNS, C-IAYT
Clinical Nutritionist and Certified Yoga Therapist
Hello, I am Nicole and my company is Illume Nutrition and Yoga Therapy.
Over the past 10 years, I have led and been a core team member developing and delivering healthcare plans for hundreds of patients managing various illnesses.
My particular interest involves improving mood, mental clarity and energy by assessing gut health, hormone balance, inflammation, sleep quality, stress management, blood sugar regulation, and more.
My passion as a wellness professional can be attributed to one core value: empowering clients to make better decisions for their own health. I have found that once empowered with individually relevant guidance, people often take control over their health choices, develop a new relationship to food and their bodies, and experience tangible mental and physical health results.
I believe that the professional/client relationship influences the quality of treatment and results. My clients and I creatively align toward the client’s success and accountability via active listening and non-judgment. I use a cooperative, individualized approach to nutrition counseling, yoga therapy, mindfulness, and other wellness modalities.
I believe in the appropriate use of whole foods, herbs, and supplements as needed. I create partnerships with clients that are motivational, respectful, and, most importantly, fun.
Some of the results my clients have seen include: anxiety reduction around skin irritation through simple dietary changes with skin improvement within one month; improved panic symptoms and sleep with yoga therapy and nutrition.
I have Clinical Nutrition Specialist credentials, an M.S. in Clinical Nutrition, am a Certified Yoga Therapist, previously Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, and a Certified Life Coach.
I pledge to remain curious on your healthcare journey; always seeking out knowledge and information in order to best serve you.
During my free time I enjoy being in nature, doing yoga, reading, enjoying time with family and friends, and cuddling with my cat Peppercorn.
“If you don’t make time for your wellness,
you will be forced to make time for your illness.”

"As a busy and high powered executive charged with running a 24/7 critical healthcare company, my lifestyle is the opposite of calm, rested, and low stress. Over the past few years working with Nicole, she has helped me significantly both mentally and physically. Through her guidance and instruction, I have become far more attune to my entire body to help me better pinpoint issues for more effective treatment; more quickly able to address physical discomfort through yoga, breathing, and specific nutrition; and more quickly able to improve my mental clarity and acuity. I strongly recommend Nicole to help improve your ability to live a more stress free and pain free existence through proven holistic methods; you won't regret it - I certainly don't!!"
